ServioCS ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you sign up
• Business information — restaurant name, city, state, and operation type
• Usage data — how you interact with the platform (pages visited, features used)
• Payment data — subscription status and PayPal subscription ID (we do not store full payment card details)
• Staff & customer data — data you enter into the platform (staff profiles, customer loyalty records) is stored on your behalf

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To process your subscription and send billing-related communications
• To send product updates, security notices, and support responses
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Data retention works as follows:

• While your account is active, all data is retained indefinitely.
• When a trial expires without payment, or when a subscription is cancelled, your data enters a locked state for 30 days.
• If no payment is received within that 30-day window, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
• You may request early deletion at any time by contacting hello@serviocs.app.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies and browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• PayPal — subscription billing
• Vercel — hosting and CDN

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
